Combat Replay Window

This window is displayed to allow you to replay and view the actions of a previous combat (a "combat replay"). The display is much like that of Tactical Combat, but you cannot modify or control any of the ships. To proceed through each of the turns of Tactical Combat, press the Next button. When combat is complete, the Next button will disable. At this point, you need to press the options button, and then select Stop Replay. This action will return you to the Log Window. Combat Replay is an approximate representation of the combat that took place. Though you can see the ships move and fire, you cannot view the exact details of each ship. You can view the ship's design, but you cannot see the exact damage a ship had taken at a specific point in combat, or what the ship's weapons firing status was. |

| Status Bar | This bar at the top of the window provides status information for this combat. It tells you the system and location where the combat is taking place, what current combat turn you are on, and the players involved in the combat. | |
| Tactical Map |
At the bottom left of the Tactical Combat window is a large map of the combat area. Each ship is displayed separately as are any planets, moons, asteroids, or warp points. Pointer Move: Moving your pointer over a ship in combat will display its design in the Current Piece display. Remember that this is just the design, not the ship as it looked in combat. The ship may have taken damage, or may have had other impairments. |

| Current Piece Display |
The right hand side of this window displays any designs for ships that you move your pointer over on the Tactical Map. The design will remain displayed until you move your pointer over a different ship. |

| Overview Map | The overview map shows the entire combat area at one time. Ships in the combat area are displayed as small squares in the color of the empire that owns them. Larger gray squares indicate a planet of spacial body that is not owned. A dotted white box appears on the overview map to show you where the Tactical Map is currently displaying. You can left-click on the Overview Map to change the area that the Tactical Map displays. |
